Getting to know Möhkö and Petkeljärvi - by boat and bike

In summer 2025, we are newly offering the Getting to know Möhkö and Petkeljärvi - by boat and bike trip, which combines two excellent activities. You can travel from Möhkö to Petkeljärvi or from Petkeljärvi to Möhkö by ferry boat, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and sights of Möhkö or Petkeljärvi National Park at your own pace, and calmly stop for coffee or lunch at Petkeljärvi Center's restaurant or Savottakahvila Möhkön Manta. The return journey to Möhkö or Petkeljärvi can be made by cycling at your own schedule along the Rajan polku trail. Manta Nature Services staff will ensure the cycling equipment is ready and waiting for you in Möhkö or Petkeljärvi. Everything is easy and effortless; you get to enjoy the beauty of nature and the unhurried atmosphere yourself.

You don't need a large group with you; you can sign up for our trips by yourself, with your family, or with your friends. 

Guaranteed river boat departures on Wednesdays 25.06.- 30.07.25 schedule: 
Departure from Möhkö at 10 AM. 
Arrival at Petkeljärvi at 11:30 AM. 
Departure from Petkeljärvi at 1:30 PM. 
Arrival at Möhkö at 3:00 PM.

The above schedule must be taken into account when planning your own trip schedule, as the river boat section of this trip follows the above schedule. 

Price: 50 €/ person. The price includes one-way river boat transport, bike rental, necessary bike equipment transport, and a route map for cycling.

Trip duration: River boat section 1.5 h, stay in Möhkö or Petkeljärvi according to your own schedule, as well as return cycling to Möhkö or Petkeljärvi.

Participants will receive life vests, a rain poncho, and a seat cushion for the river boat section. In addition to the bicycle, cycling equipment includes a cycling helmet and bike maintenance tools. A route map is provided for the cycling section.

In addition to the official river boat days, the trip can be arranged for groups by order, according to a separate offer.
