Getting to know Möhkö and Petkeljärvi - by boat and bike

In summer 2025, we will be offering a new tour, Möhkö and Petkeljärvi - get to know them by boat and bike, which combines two great activities. You can travel from Möhkö to Petkeljärvi or from Petkeljärvi to Möhkö on a shuttle boat, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and sights of Möhkö or Petkeljärvi National Parks at your own pace, and stop off for coffee or lunch at the Petkeljärvi Center restaurant or Savottakahvila in Möhkö Manta. The return trip to Möhkö or Petkeljärvi can be done by cycling according to your own schedule along the Rajan polku route. The Manta Nature Services staff will ensure that the bicycles are ready to wait for you at Möhkö or Petkeljärvi. Everything is easy and hassle-free, you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the unhurried atmosphere yourself.

You don't need a large group with you, but you can sign up for our trips on your own, with your family or friends.

 
Guaranteed departures of the river boat tour on Wednesdays 25.06.- 30.07.25 schedule:  
Departure from Möhkö at 10 am. 
Arrival at Petkeljärvi at 11.30 am.  
Departure from Petkeljärvi at 1:30 pm. 
Arrival at Möhkö at 3:00 pm.

The above schedule should be taken into account when planning your own trip schedule, as the river boat portion of this trip takes place according to the above schedule.

Price: €50/person. The price includes one-way riverboat transportation, bike rental, necessary bike transportation and a route map for cycling.

Duration of the tour: Riverboat section 1.5 hours, stay in Möhkö or Petkeljärvi according to your own schedule, as well as return cycling to Möhkö or Petkeljärvi.

Participants will receive life jackets, raincoats and a seat pad for the riverboat section. In addition to the bike, cycling equipment includes a cycling helmet and bike maintenance tools. A route map will be provided for the cycling section.

In addition to the regular riverboat days, the tour can be carried out by order for groups according to a separate offer.

Weather conditions may cause changes to the programs and their schedules. Safety is always a top priority in our operations.
