Café and Nature Hut

Petkeljärvi's Café and Nature Hut is open from early May to late October. Every day in June, July, and August. You can find the up-to-date opening hours in the button in the image.

The reception for the Accommodation rooms, Park Ranger's Cabin, and Campsite is always open during the café's opening hours, and additionally, there is an evening duty according to a separately announced schedule. You can find the up-to-date opening hours in the button in the image.

In the summer of 2026, Petkeljärvi National Park will turn 70 years old, and this will be celebrated with various events and offers.

Campfire hut

The hiking center's Campfire hut is available for rent for private events from September to the end of April for your small hiking group, small celebrations, or meeting and training events. The hut cannot be reserved for private events from early May to the end of August when the risk of forest fire is evident, and when the Campfire hut, including Keltasilmä lean-to shelter in the Petkeljärvi area, is the only permitted open fire pit.
