Café and nature hut

Petkeljärvi café and nature hut is open from early May to late October. Every day in June, July and August. You can find the current opening hours in the button in the picture.

Reception

The reception for the accommodation rooms, the Park Ranger's hut and the campsite is always open during the café's opening hours, and is also open in the evenings according to a separately announced schedule. You can find the current opening hours by clicking on the button in the picture.

In the summer of 2026, Petkeljärvi National Park will turn 70 years old and this will be celebrated with various events and offers.

Bonfire house

The camping site's fire pit is available for private events from September to the end of April for your own small camping group, small celebrations, or meetings or training events. It is not possible to book the hut for private events from the beginning of May to the end of August, when the risk of wildfires is obvious, and when the fire pit is the only permitted open fire place in the Petkeljärvi area, including the Keltasilmä lean-to.

Möhkö's May Day

Free Möhkö's summer season will begin with the May Day celebration on May 1, 2026.
