Paddling Package Petkeljärvi - Hiiskoski

Come, see and experience the peace and beauty of Eastern Finnish nature by paddling. Departure from Petkeljärvi National Park's hiking center, paddling Petkeljärvi - Nuorajärvi - Kasinjärvi - Vilunvedenjuoksu - Lohinen - Mekrijärvi, from where along the beautiful Ala-Koita river to Hiiskoski. The price includes either a Mad River canoe for two, vests and paddles, or a FIT96 kayak for one, a vest, paddle and spray skirt, and pick-up from Hiiskoski boat ramp

Under 18 years old only accompanied by an adult.

For an additional fee, more canoes or kayaks are available, as well as various safety and maintenance equipment, smaller dry bags, waterproof route maps and plans with instructions for both paddling and hiking routes.

The price does not include arrival at Petkeljärvi, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food, drinks, dishes, camping stove, larger dry bags or barrels, matches, backup power, toilet paper. The price also does not include travel insurance, which is important to have valid during the trip.
