The Petkeljärvi Hiking Center's campfire hut can be booked for private use for your small hiking group, for small celebrations, or for meetings from September to April. It is not possible to book the hut for private events from May to late August, when wildfire risks are very apparent. During this time, the hut is always in general use among all visitors to the national park and hiking center.
The rental price for a private event always includes ready-made firewood and kindling. Additionally, a Muurikka pan with a gas burner and a gas bottle is available for separate rental. A camping stove with two burners, coffee and water pots suitable for a campfire, and dishes are also available. Ready-made catering can also be ordered separately.
