Korkeasärkän polku 2 km

To access the trail, you must first follow Kuikan kierros or Harjupolku. Korkeasärkän polku, 2 km, starts at the intersection between Kokkolahti and Savulampi, where there is a sign. Korkeasärkän polku is marked with blue dots painted on trees.
Polku leads to the end of the narrow Korkeasärkkä, where Lohisalmi is located. The trail is 2 km long, and you must return along the same route. To the east of Korkeasärkkä, the landscape opens to Lake Valkiajärvi, and to the west, to the narrow Kaitajärvi.

Korkeasärkän polku is a one-way trail that leads to Petkeljärvi's most iconic ridge. Korkeasärkkä is a narrow headland, with clear waters sparkling on both sides.
No camping possibility. Camping at the hiking center at the starting point of the trail.
No winter maintenance

Remember a trash bag. There are no waste bins on the trail. Bring a trash bag and take your trash with you.
