Korkeasärkän trail 2 km

To get to the trail, you must first follow the Kuikka trail or the Harjupolku trail. The Korkeasärkän polku, 2 km, starts at the intersection between Kokkolahti and Savulampi, where there is a signpost. The Korkeasärkän polku is marked with blue dots painted on the trees.
The trail leads to the narrow Korkeasärkän headland, where Lohisalmi is located. The trail is 2 km long and you must return the same way. To the east of Korkeasärkä, the view opens up to Lake Valkiajärvi and to the west to the narrow Kaitajärvi.

The Korkeasärkä trail is a one-way route that leads to the most iconic ridge of Petkeljärvi. Korkeasärkä is a narrow cape with clear waters shimmering on both sides.
No camping. Camping at the hiking center at the starting point of the route.
No winter maintenance
No toilets. Toilets at the hiking center at the starting point of the trail.
Remember your trash bag. There are no trash cans on the trail. Bring a trash bag and take your trash with you.
