Ridge path 2.5 km

The Harjupolku partly follows the Kuikankierros nature trail and partly the Taitajan taival trail. The trail starts at the starting point sign next to the rental sauna at the Petkeljärvi hiking center. The trail is marked with orange dots on the trees.
The trail initially follows the shore of Kokkolahti towards the south for about 300 meters. At the intersection with the Korkeasärkän path, turn northwest. The trail circles the shores of Savulampi and Syväjärvi towards Ruunulampi, which is about 1.5 km away.
At Ruunulampi, where the Kuikankierros intersects with the Taitajan Taipale. Here, those walking the Harjupolku continue to the right, following Taitajan taival. The trail ends at the starting point.

Remember to bring a trash bag. There are no trash cans on the route. Bring a trash bag and take your trash with you.
