Canoeing package Petkeljärvi - Hiiskoski

Come, see and experience the peace and beauty of Eastern Finland's nature by kayaking. Departure from Petkeljärvi National Park Hiking Center, kayaking Petkeljärvi - Nuorajärvi - Kasinjärvi - Vilunvedenjuoksu - Lohinen - Mekrijärvi from where along the magnificent Ala-Koita River to Hiiskoski. The price includes either a Mad River canoe for two, life jackets and paddles or a FIT96 kayak for one, life jacket, paddle and open blanket, and pick-up from the Hiiskoski boat ramp.

Under 18s only accompanied by an adult.

More canoes or kayaks available for an additional fee, as well as various safety and maintenance equipment, smaller dry bags, waterproof route maps and plans with instructions for both the canoeing and hiking routes.

The price does not include arrival at Petkeljärvi, tent, sleeping bag, camping mattress, food, drinks, dishes, camping stove, larger dry bags or barrels, matches, backup power, toilet paper. The price also does not include travel insurance, which is important to have valid during the trip.
